One of the main events of the trip of young leaders to Slovakia was the Gagauzian evening. The idea of the Gagauzian evening was the acquaintance of the Slovaks with the culture of the Gagauzians. At this event the history, culture, holidays, clothes, dances and songs of the Gagauzians were presented. From the national cuisine, kivirma, mamaliga and patlajan manjasi were prepared. In the folk dances was reflected the grace of the Gagauzian girls and the incendiary mood of Gagauzian men. Then, together with the Slovak youth, joint dances were organized with Gagauzian and Moldavian music. To learn more about Gagauzia, young leaders prepared videos and photos that were shown under Gagauzian folk music. Also girls in folk costumes told about traditions and history, and one young man, in order to demonstrate the beauty of the language, read a poem in the Gagauzian language. In general, all the visitors of the evening were satisfied and we hope that they learned more about Gagauzia and a piece of Gagauzian culture left in their souls.
